For any~~one~~ nerd that’s curious, here are my most recent PC specs. It runs amazingly and I’m pretty sure it could handle practically any program/game I throw at it. I also have a MacBook Pro that’s not shown in the picture above, but it too, has been nothing but awesome. I sure love my technology! PC specs after the jump.

Easy Brownie Oreos

Hey everyone, I made some cookies over the weekend! I called them brownie-oreo cookies or “broreo cookies” for short! They’re super easy didn’t take long to make at all. Keep reading for more pictures and also the recipe for these yummy cookies.

I got the recipe from an amazing recipe book called “Taste of Home: Baking Classics” but you can also find the same recipe on this website: http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Quick-Chocolate-Sandwich-Cookies (also pasted below ^^)

36 Servings Prep: 15 min. Bake: 10 min./batch + cooling

Ingredients

2 packages (18-1/4 ounces each) devil’s food cake mix
1 cup canola oil
4 eggs

FILLING:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
2-1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon Spice Islands® pure vanilla extract

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the cake mixes, oil and eggs until well blended. Roll into 1-in. balls. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Do not flatten.

Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks (cookies will flatten as they cool).

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Beat in sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread on the bottom of half of the cookies; top with remaining cookies. Store in the refrigerator. Yield: about 6 dozen.

The recipe required two packages of Devil Food Cake Mix but I only had one package so I halved the recipe! I didn’t even need a mixer for this recipe, I just mixed it by hand.

The cream cheese icing was so yummy. These are the cookie halves when they’re done baking! I may have over baked them a little bit ><

The finished ‘Broreos’ :D Yumyum.

Happy December everyone! I think it’s now safe to post some Christmas themed photos to get you all in the holiday spirit. I’ve already been humming some Christmas songs all day!

I took these photos on my lunch break today. It’s really nice to work downtown, there’s always lots of things going on!

Today I tried one of the food trucks that sell Vietnamese food. I got the beef pho! Mmmmm it was actually better than I expected it to be. Not as good as a restaurant would be but definitely worth trying!

Now that it’s December, I can finally start my advent calendars that I’ve been so excited to open! I have two calendars this year, one of them is LEGO Star Wars and the other is Purdy’s chocolate.

The Lego one is so awesome because you get to build a different toy each day! The chocolate one is great too, so much better than the cheap ones from the grocery store. It’s like having a Kinder Surprise everyday except the toys and chocolate are 100x better hahah. What do you do to get yourself in the holiday spirit? Have you finished Christmas shopping yet? I haven’t even started! Eeek!
